Founded by British designer Ferda Yayci, the brand draws on her multicultural background to create collections that exist at the intersection of art, history, and contemporary womanhood.

THE FOUNDER

Designer Ferda Yayci founded VERDA LONDON after more than a decade of experience within the global luxury fashion industry. Her work has been featured in leading international publications including Marie Claire and L’Officiel, and worn by artists, performers, and influential figures across fashion, music, and the arts.

Ferda’s design philosophy is rooted in conscious creation and deep respect for craftsmanship. Through sculptural draping, considered pattern cutting, and symbolic storytelling, she creates garments that empower the wearer—celebrating strength, individuality, and emotional resonance.

ETHICS & CRAFTSMANSHIP

At VERDA LONDON, craftsmanship is central and ethics are non-negotiable. Fabrics are sourced globally, often from regions connected to the designer’s travels and cultural research. From handwoven Anatolian lace crafted by local artisans, to limited-edition knitwear developed in collaboration with specialist ateliers, and small-batch tailoring produced in Istanbul—each piece reflects a commitment to skill, heritage, and fair labour.
